67. The Kings have a ton of prospects, and maybe half of them project as potential starters — while one has an All-Star ceiling. They desperately need scoring as they’re one of two teams that don’t average at least 100 points a game — the other being your one and only Memphis Grizzlies.
<p>If it weren’t for a back injury, Michael Porter might be in the conversation for the number one pick. Instead, he might fall in the 4-7 range as the other players are shining on the national stage. Despite that, Porter might be the best player in the draft and certainly has the most upside.</p>
<p>At 6’10”, he has a smooth jumper and can pull up over anyone. He’s more comfortable on the perimeter but needs to tighten his handle a bit. He has the size to play the 4 but needs to bulk up to battle NBA big men inside.</p>
<p>The Kings need scoring, and Porter is the best on the board in that department.</p>
