The Memphis Grizzlies are halfway through the season, and there are plenty of questions surrounding this team. What’s most likely going to happen?

In this month’s mailbag, the Beale Street Bears staff answers questions about the Memphis Grizzlies’ playoff hopes, Ben McLemore, trades, the draft and Wade Baldwin.

All these topics are very important to the Grizzlies’ community.

For the first time in over seven years, the Grizzlies are in danger of missing the playoffs. With the Western Conference getting more and more dangerous, it’s hard to envision when Memphis can return to the playoffs.

Ben McLemore looks like a disastrous signing, especially given who they essentially gave up for him (Troy Daniels). With the Grizzlies looking to trade him, the question is if they can even get a serious return.

The trade deadline is always fun, so any scoop on that is great.

The Grizzlies can finally be excited about the draft for the first time since 2009.

Finally, Mario Chalmers hasn’t been good for this team — but he is the MVP of the tank. With that being said, giving up on a 21-year old Wade Baldwin so quickly for Chalmers looks more foolish by the day.

It’s time to answer these questions, so let’s see what our staff has to say.
