No. 4: Detroit

Detroit is in a position where they could either blow it up or make a playoff run.

There’s really no reason to reset as both Andre Drummond and Tobias Harris are in their mid-20s. Aside those players, they have Avery Bradley and Reggie Jackson – a backcourt that could certainly help this team win now. Not to mention, they have promising young wings in Reggie Bullock, Stanley Johnson and Luke Kennard.

The playoff picture in the East is super crowded right now, as the Pistons are the ninth seed but only four games out of the fourth seed. Why not try to make a playoff push? It’d only give these young players some valuable experience.

Given how close they are to a solid playoff seed, a player like Tyreke Evans could give them the push they need for home-court advantage.

There arent’t any playmakers or scorers off the bench for this team. They do have nice complementary players in Ish Smith, Stanley Johnson and Luke Kennard. However, they lack a dynamic sixth man who could generate buckets himself and for others.

Alongside the starting lineup, he’s another playmaker next to Harris and Reggie Jackson. He’s also another floor-spacer around Andre Drummond.

Ideal Return: 2018 first-round pick or Reggie Bullock.
