Quick Hits and Recap: Memphis Grizzlies 101, Indiana Pacers 105
The Memphis Grizzlies lost a close game on the road to the Indiana Pacers 105-101. The shorthanded Grizzlies got into foul trouble late in the game, including a technical foul on Wayne Selden.
Quick Hits
Marc Gasol:
Marc Gasol continues to move the ball and grab boards as he ended up with nine rebounds and six assists.
Gasol also shot the ball effectively. He shot 50 percent from the floor, 60 percent from deep and made all of his free throws. He scored 23 points on the night.
Wayne Selden:
Selden scored 24 points tonight. He shot 57 percent from the floor, 60 percent from deep, and made all of his free throws. Selden also helped Jarell Martin and Marc Gasol hustle for the 50/50 balls.
He also blocked one shot and grabbed two steals as he played solid defense.
At the end of the game, Selden was called for a technical foul and was ejected.
Jarell Martin:
Martin came away with seven points, two rebounds, and four assists tonight. He was hustling for the 50/50 balls. He also made one three pointer early in the game.
Dillion Brooks:
Brooks was a slashing machine, scoring 12 points. His impact, however, came on the defensive end as he had 4 steals.
Other Quick Hits:
Myles Turner came away with a double double as he had 15 points and 11 rebounds. He played solid defense, blocking three shots and getting two steals. Most of his points came at the free throw line.
Although Victor Oladipo did not have a great offensive night, he still came away with 13 points, five assists, and three rebounds.
Bojan Bodganovic scored inside and out, leading the Pacers in scoring with 21 points.
Darren Collison grabbed three steals and played tough defense. He also came away with 16 points, three rebounds, and four assists.
The Memphis Grizzlies play their next game on the road against the Detroit Pistons. The game is on Thursday at 6:00 pm.
