Apparently, Chandler Parsons will be back sooner rather than later. Titles will be soon to follow, definitely.
The last game that Chandler Parsons played for the Memphis Grizzlies was against the Lakers on December 27th. Since then, he has been out with “knee soreness”. If you thought there was some sarcasm around the phrase “knee soreness,” you deserve a prize.
Many people, including myself, assumed that the Memphis Grizzlies were going to hold him out for the rest of the year. Some people even believed that Chandler Parsons was considering injury retirement. And by some people, I really just mean Ron Tillery.
Many of us here at the fine abode of Beale Street Bears dot com have believed in an ideal. That ideal, one of hope and joy, is a healthy Chandler Parsons. The ideal that Chandler Parsons could make the Memphis Grizzlies great again.
The days of Grit ‘N’ Grind were great. However, we longed for a better world, a more Chandler-ley world, if you will. A more Chandler-ley world that doesn’t have any Kardashians in it.
After seeing him miss so much time, many of us had lost the faith. We began to believe that he would never be healthy again. I mean, any smart person would trade him for Kawhi Leonard, so that the team can build around a new star.* Come on, Chris Wallace. Are you even trying?
Yet, in our darkest, tankiest hour, our faith has been rewarded.
LOOK WHO’S ALMOST BACK.
Though he has been out since Mike Conley’s hair was still terrible, Parsons will be returning this season to bring a championship to Memphis. If all of those nerds still want to tank after the franchise savior returns, then they just need to find another team.

Now that Chandler Parsons is almost back, this terrible season will all be worth it in the end. I am certain that he will never have knee problems ever again. *
