Memphis Grizzlies look to finish strong before All-Star Break
The Memphis Grizzlies season is far from over, but progression would be nice for all sides on Wednesday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
This game would usually be a huge game for both sides based on their past history with one another, but not this season. The struggling Memphis Grizzlies and a Thunder team finding their stride probably won’t be the best game. Here’s some good news though, Grizzlies fans: the Thunder struggle on the road.
Similar to Memphis, the Oklahoma City Thunder are still working on their consistency. So far, the Thunder are 12-16 on the road this season and have a serious case of “when do the playoffs start?” The case that shows lack of motivation on a night like tonight, lottery pick *yawn* versus the 5th best team in the Western Conference. These are the games that the Thunder are going to have to learn to get up for. Although the Thunder beat the Grizzlies on Sunday night, it’s still a concern if you’re a Oklahoma City fan.
The Grizzlies, however, are looking for progression from their young guns. Dillon Brooks, Ivan Rabb, and Wayne Selden are guys to watch for the Grizzlies tomorrow night. Watching the young guys in this lost season has been fun to say the least. Watching these players develop, for me at least is fun, especially because of their basketball IQ at the NBA level.

Something else to keep an eye on is the return of Chandler Parsons, as he’ll be returning to the lineup for team first time in 20 games due to right knee soreness.
