No. 2: Jordan Bell

Draft pick: 37th

Outof all the players outside the lottery, Jordan Bell was definitely my favorite prospect to keep an eye on. He’s just awesome to watch.

Bell has a moxie and a swagger in him that will make him a key player for any team for the next decade. He’s the kind of player you would draft to carry on the “Grit ‘n’ Grind” culture. He can change the game with his energy and hustle – something not many players can do.

More from Grizzlies Draft

Bell might find himself a starting spot on this Warriors team very soon. He can run the floor, switch onto perimeter players, play above the rim and serve as a rim protector.

He’s not getting much time on the Warriors, as he’s only averaging 13.9 minutes per game. However, his production is great. Per 36 minutes, Bell is averaging 12.6 points, 9.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.7 blocks and 1.7 steals.

For this rebuilding team, Bell could’ve served as one of the lone bright spots and found a starting spot quite quickly. There’s no one on this team that could change the game on either end of the court quite like him.

If the Grizzlies wanted to keep “Grit ‘n’ Grind,” Bell would’ve been the pick at 20th … or 35th …
