The Grizzlies make a stop in Philadelphia to take on the 76ers for game two of the current road trip, following a tough loss to the Nets in Brooklyn on Monday night.
Who: Memphis Grizzlies (19-51) @ Philadelphia 76ers (39-30)
Where: WELLS FARGO CENTER- PHILADELPHIA, PA
When: Wednesday, March 21st – 6:00 P.M. CST
How to Watch: Fox Sports Southeast
How to Listen: 92.9 ESPN Memphis
WHAT’S AT STAKE
The Memphis Grizzlies broke their 19-game losing streak Saturday night against the Denver Nuggets inside Fedex Forum. So the pressure to stop that streak has been lifted, but the idea of starting a new losing streak is one that Gasol and the young Grizzlies will fight to avoid. The Grizzlies hold the all time series record over the 76ers (22-21). The Grizz will look to keep that lead and continue the development of their young players.
The Sixers currently sit sixth in the Eastern Conference but are only one game back in the loss column of the Cleveland Cavaliers for the three seed. They own the longest winning streak in the East (a whopping three games) and are trying to avoid a first round match up with Cleveland. Philly has also won 15 of their last 16 games at home.
NOTES:
Tyreke Evans was out for “undisclosed reasons” Monday night, leaving his status unknown.
Grizzlies are currently a half game ahead (behind?) of the Phoenix Suns for last place in the NBA.
Memphis defeated Philadelphia
in Memphis on January 22.

Prediction:
Philadelphia simply has a lot to gain by winning this game tonight while Memphis simply does not. The best part about the Grizz is that they fight every night and have not once given up this season. They will keep its close for most of the game, but Philadelphia pulls this one out 110-98.
