The Portland Trailblazers (46-28) look to run away with the Northwest division title as they come to the FedexForum to play the Memphis Grizzlies (20-54).

There are only 8 more games until the season is mercifully over for the Memphis Grizzlies. The Portland Trailblazers, on the other hand, still have much to play for as they look to remain in the 3rd seed in the West.

In their last game, the Grizzlies snapped a 17-game road losing streak with a 101-93 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. If the Grizzlies beat the Blazers, it will be their first actual winning streak since November.

The Blazers are on a two-game winning streak with wins over the Pelicans and Thunder. They have all but clinched the Northwest Division, but they will need every win that they can get in order to keep the 3rd seed in the Western Conference Playoff race.

Here are some keys for the Grizzlies to win the game.

Don’t

At this point in the season, the Memphis Grizzlies need to lose as many games as possible as they currently have the second worst record behind the Phoenix Suns. The win over the Timberwolves was nice, especially when Wayne Selden has 23 points, but it’s time to get back to business.

They likely won’t have much to worry about with a hungry Blazers in town. Damian Lillard, who is averaging 26.6 points, will likely have a field day with Memphis’ lackluster perimeter defense. Expect this onto get pout of hand early in the game.

However, Wayne Selden has played very well recently, as he has averaged 16.3 points over his last 6 games. It will be interesting to see if he can maintain his development against the Blazers.
