Memphis Grizzlies to Host Press Conference on Wednesday
The Memphis Grizzlies have made the news surrounding J.B. Bickerstaff official and will host an introductory presser on Wednesday.
If you have not heard by now, the Memphis Grizzlies were said to have reached an agreement with interim Head Coach J.B. Bickerstaff to become the full-time Head Coach.
The Grizzlies made the news official today and have scheduled an introductory press conference for tomorrow (Wednesday), May 2nd.
Players from the Grizzlies’ roster have also chimed in with their congratulatory messages for Mr. Bickerstaff. It is great to see the players buying in to the franchise’s decision at the helm.
The general consensus around Grizz Nation has been somewhat iffy on the team’s decision to promote J.B. Bickerstaff without sifting through other available options. However, the players’ trust in J.B. really speaks for itself. Bickerstaff was the right person for the job.
After all, the players — especially the young guns — have to buy into the teachings and preachings of the Head Coach in order to be successful in this league. If not, it will be miserable times ahead.
