After having the seventh best odds in the lottery, the Kings are just thrilled to be in this position. Sacramento will be hoping that the Suns take Luka Doncic so they can have Ayton themselves.

The Kings will return everyone on contract except Caboclo and Vince Carter. (Shumpert and Temple will most likely accept their player options because, well get money). The front court needs help. Cauley-Stein, Labissiere, and Giles are nothing to fall in love with and Randolph and Koufos will be in the last year of their deals.

The backcourt will return 2017 lottery pick De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Justin Jackson as young players of the future for the Kings. Shumpert and Temple will return as veteran presences most likely.

The Kings may take Doncic here based on best available, but past history and bigger need leads me to believe the Kings will take Jaren Jackson Jr.
