Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. G. Slovenia. 4. 211. Luka Doncic. player

Obviously a dream scenario for the Memphis Grizzlies front office. If Doncic were to actually slip to four, Wallace shouldn’t even use any of the clock, just immediately tell Adam Silver the pick. Too much time thinking and Wallace is just going to ask if he can redraft Thabeet.

Once the Grizzlies fell in the Draft Lottery, most everyone gave up hope on Doncic landing in Memphis. But rumor from over seas is that he may exercise the option to stay in Europe if drafted into a situation he does not want to be in.

The Grizzlies are a situation he would come to. They are in win now mode, and play an unselfish brand of basketball. Even if he did not come over, like Rubio did not for Minnesota right away, the Grizzlies would own his rights and eventually have him. Still worth it.
