Trae Young

Trae Young is an electric offensive player who has the potential to make a huge impact on any NBA team. He could learn a lot from playing alongside Mike Conley too. He had many games in college where he was straight up unstoppable but he also had somewhere he really struggled. He’ll have much more help at this level so he should become a more consistent player.

Young averaged about 27 points and 9 assists per game in college which is just absurd for a player at a power conference. Another insane stat is the fact that he took just over 10 threes per game., he made 36% of them but the fact that he shot so many is crazy.

He did average 5.2 turnovers, which all in all isn’t as bad as some might say considering he did everything for that Oklahoma team. He had turnover issues in some specific games but for the most part, it wasn’t a huge issue.

Trae Young is gonna be able to make shots for whatever team takes him in the upcoming draft, but if he wants to be a special player, he’s gonna have to be smarter and more consistent. He can do it, but it won’t be as a member of the Memphis Grizzlies.
