The Grizzlies will most likely be choosing between Michael Porter Jr., Marvin Bagley III, and Luka Doncic at four. If they do not have their choice between two of them, at worst they will be choosing whoever is left over after Sacramento and Atlanta, respectively, make their picks.

If Sacramento does indeed take Porter Jr. at two, the best pick for Memphis is Marvin Bagley III. His athleticism and upside is lustful. If the only knock on him is his defense, then learning from Marc Gasol, one of the best all-around defenders in the league, could change that.

The Grizzlies are known for team defense with Marc as the anchor of that unit. Adding Bagley’s insane athleticism and ability to rebound, he will make an immediate impact for this team as they seek to return to the playoffs.
