With three days remaining until the 2018 NBA Draft, Beale Street Bears offers a collaborative perspective on how things may shake out with Mock Draft 4.0.

The countdowns is officially on! It is NBA Draft week and there remains only a few more days until the Memphis Grizzlies welcome a couple new members to the squad.

The Grizzlies own the No. 4 and No. 32 overall picks in this year’s NBA Draft event. It is an excellent time to hold possession of two selections being as this impending rookie class is oozing with talent. There will surely be a handful of future NBA All-Stars born from this particular group.

Though the majority of the talk surrounding the Memphis Grizzlies will be the prospect they select fourth overall, there should definitely be a lot of hype surrounding their second round selection, too. Take a look at Memphis’ pick of Dillon Brooks with the 45th overall pick in 2017 (which they traded for). Falling just shy of an All-Rookie selection in his inagural professional season, the Memphis Grizzlies hit the jackpot on a non-lottery pick.

To gauge who the Grizz, along with nearly all other NBA teams (sorry, Toronto Raptors fans, whose team currently does not own a pick this year), add to their rosters, welcome to Mock Draft Version 4.0.

The Beale Street Bears Draft Lottery went as follows: (1) AJ Salah, (2) Brendan Smart, (3) Justin Lewis, (4) Christian Dudley, and (5) Chris Kern.

To see how things have evolved over the past month’s worth of mock drafts at Beale Street Bears, be sure to view our past three editions.

We broke down the top-35 picks to determine who the Memphis Grizzlies will select with both opportunities on the clock. This mock will show who may potentially slide down the Draft board and become available at No. 32 and beyond. It is becoming a typical occurrence on Draft Night to see Memphis acquire an extra late-second round pick.

Enjoy, NBA fans! Relish this week especially — we will soon enter the dog days of the NBA offseason.
