CK: With the 35th overall pick, the Orlando Magic select Dzanan Musa out of Bosnia. He is a very versatile player who can play anywhere from shooting guard to power forward. Some even think he could even spend some time at the five-spot, depending on the rest of the roster. He is not amazing at anything, but he is a guy who can get the job done on the court. He does a lot of things well and would be a great pick here. It would be a surprise for him to drop out of the first round.

CD: With the 34th overall pick, the Atlanta Hawks will select Grayson Allen of Duke. With a slew of picks in this Draft, it is time to take a gamble on a defensive player. Allen could be a controversial player considering his troubles in college associated with unnecessary trips, cheap shots, and flagrant fouls. However, when he is at his best, he is a lockdown defender on the opposition’s best perimeter scorer. He can also become a scoring threat. This is a value pick at No. 34 for Atlanta.

JL: With the 33rd overall pick, the Dallas Mavericks select Jacob Evans from the University of Cincinnati. Evans is projected to be a solid two-player and a late-first round pick. The Mavs will be happy to jump on this player if he slips into this part of the NBA Draft. He would immediately be Harrison Barnes’ backup and maybe even play alongside him with Barnes playing minutes as a stretch-four.

BS: With the 32nd overall pick in the NBA Draft, the Memphis Grizzlies select Jevon Carter out of West Virginia University. Carter would add more depth behind Mike Conley. He would also add fire to a bench unit that is in question with the possible departure of Tyreke Evans via Free-Agency. Plus, Andrew Harrison’s future is in the air. Carter plays both ends of the floor well, and would top off a great NBA Draft for Memphis.

AS: With the 31st overall pick, the Phoenix Suns select Aaron Holiday. He is an explosive attacker and playmaker in addition to a potentially lethal shooter (42.9% on six attempts per game from long-range). Holiday has NBA pedigree (the younger brother to New Orleans’ Jrue Holiday and Chicago’s Justin Holiday). Even at 6’1,” Aaron is a size upgrade over Tyler Ulis. None of Phoenix’s options at point guard seem like long-term solutions. Holiday could be a surprise steal.
