CK: With the 30th overall pick, the Atlanta Hawks select Jalen Brunson. They got their franchise point guard earlier in the NBA Draft and here they get a good guy who will be a really good backup in this league. Brunson is a tough-minded player who developed a lot during his college years. He played like a pro at Villanova and will continue to do so in the NBA.

CD: With the 29th overall pick, the Brooklyn Nets will select Chandler Hutchison of Boise State. The Nets are knee-deep into their rebuilding mode and Hutchison can help jumpstart the team’s youth movement. Brooklyn has a promising backcourt and now they can focus on strengthening their frontcourt. Being as 2018-19 will be another Lottery-bound season for the Nets, Hutchison will get plenty of minutes to develop as an NBA rookie.

JL: With the 28th overall pick, the Golden State Warriors take De’Anthony Melton, a guard out of USC. Melton is the type of player that teams in the late-lottery may regret passing over. Scouts have not seen much recently because of an NCAA issue last season, but the kid can ball. He will be a nice rotation player for this squad as they slightly retool for a run at a three-peat.

BS: With the 27th overall pick in the NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics select Landry Shamet. Shamet will fit well in Boston with their youth. With the questions surrounding Kyrie Irving’s future, Shamet would be a safe bet at progressing, and being a part of a bright, young Boston team.

AS: With the 26th overall pick, the Philadelphia 76ers select Anfernee Simons. He is a project for sure, but he Sixers are already Eastern Conference contenders with upside to spare. They can afford to be patient. They also have a ridiculous six picks on Draft Night, so there is plenty of room to gamble or nab a high-upside player to use as trade bait.
