The Memphis Grizzlies could look for a bigger name than many of the fans predicted when the off season began, by calling Avery Bradley writes Chris Kern.

Chris Kern(@Chriskern11): Avery Bradley

Avery Bradley has been a really good player so far in his career. Some health issues make it possible that the Grizzlies MLE will be enough to sign him. The Grizzlies have already been linked to Bradley by many media members.

Bradley is a solid three and D guy who would fit in very nicely on this team. He would be a very good compliment point guard Mike Conley. He is a 36.6% three-point shooter so far in his career Bradley also has the capability to guard any opposing guard.

There’s one big issue with Avery Bradley though, his health. He has had injury issues for what seems like his whole career. He has never played 82 games in a season. He did play in 77 and 76 games in back to back seasons in 2014-15 and 2015-16 but he hasn’t came close to 82 games in any other season. His next most was when he played in 64 games in 2011-12.

Bradley had season ending surgery to repair muscles in his abdominal region in March. He should be fully healed from that injury for the season but who knows if he’ll be fully healthy next season. The Grizzlies already have so many injury issues so some don’t think this would be a good signing.

I feel it would be a great signing. He may be the best player that we can get with the MLE. Most guys this good are gonna demand more money but becasue of his health issues, this may be enough to get him. The Grizzlies should call Bradley right when free agency starts. They need to give him a really good quick pitch; before any other teams com calling with more money.
