The Memphis Grizzlies have advanced to the final four of the Las Vegas Summer League, and they are set to face off with the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Memphis Grizzlies are playing with a lot of confidence in this tournament. They struggled some during the first few games before the tournament but they seem to really be getting going now.

What To Expect From Portland:

This should be a great matchup to watch. This game is gonna mean a lot to one of the Trail Blazers though. Wade Baldwin is a former first-round pick of the Memphis Grizzlies in 2016 whom they cut before this past season.

Wade Baldwin is gonna do all he can to get his team a victory but he’ll have his hands full. Jevon Carter is gonna give Baldwin all that he can handle in this matchup.

This Portland team has some other studs that will give the Memphis Grizzlies trouble. Guard John Jenkins had 25 points last night to lead them to a win over Boston.

The Blazers inside duo of Zach Collins and Caleb Swanigan is gonna be a handful as well. Jaren Jackson and Deyonta Davis are gonna have to play well and tough to get it done inside. They’ll need a good performance out of backup big Ivan Rabb as well.

They also have guard Archie Goodwin off the bench who actually became the Vegas Summer League all-time leading scorer last night. That’s more about how much he’s played in the summer league but that still makes him a legit threat to deal with.

The Memphis Grizzlies have their own talented guards off the bench in Markel Crawford and Brandon Goodwin. Those two should be able to outplay any of the Portland backup guards in tonight’s game. These two need to play well to end this summer league as they look to work their way into a potential two-way contract.
