Memphis Grizzlies forward JaMychal Green has earned the 22nd spot. If he continues to play well in Memphis he will continue to rise up this list.

Career Background

JaMychal Green went undrafted in 2012. He spent the next two seasons playing for Chorale Roanne in France.

He was then signed by the Spurs before the 2014-15 season. Green was unable to make the roster though as he was a training camp roster cut.

The Spurs did sign him to a 10-day contract in January. After that, the Memphis Grizzlies signed him to two 10-day contracts in February before signing him to a multiyear deal in March.

He signed a two-year deal last offseason. Green will be an unrestricted free agent next season so he could be on his way out of Memphis after that.

The Memphis Grizzlies could try and keep him around though if they wanted to play him alongside Jackson going forward.

JaMychal Green has been a very good player for the team. He has worked his way into the starting power forward. He should start the season at that spot but could lose it as the year goes on.

In Green’s four seasons with the Grizzlies, he has averaged 8.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. He has been a key player for the Grizzlies as they started going away from the Grit and Grind era.

Highlights:

JaMychal Green’s three-point shooting is one of the things that make him such a special player. He is a 35% career three-point shooter. His ability to stretch the floor allows Marc Gasol to dominate inside.

His athleticism is another key part of his game. His ability to follow up with dunks like this is big for the team. This putback dunk over the Knicks defenders looks so easy for him.

This dunk over Dwayne Wade is one of my favorite plays of him as a Grizzly. He dunked all over Dwayne Wade in this game from March of 2017.

He is an exciting player who will continue to rise up this list as long as he remains a member of the Memphis Grizzlies.
