Kyle Anderson, one of the Memphis Grizzlies’ most critical pieces for 2018-19, has made a decision to stay awhile in Tennessee.
According to WMAC Action 5 News in Memphis, Tennessee, Memphis Grizzlies newcomer Kyle Anderson has purchased a $2.3 million mansion located in Eads.
This luxurious home remains in the NBA family. Had the Memphis Grizzlies pulled the trigger on landing Monta Ellis in any one of the many times they were linked to the guard via trade rumors, this house would have been specifically swapped between Grizzlies players.
Who was the owner prior to Ellis? Oddly enough, it was Lorenzen Wright, who was murdered at the age of 34 in 2010. Anderson keeps the Grizzlies ties alive to this particular Eads property.
This mansion comes with quite the history, but the real focal point should be Anderson’s big decision to invest in his new home away from home. He is fully committed to this latest opportunity within his professional basketball career.

Kyle Anderson decided to leave the San Antonio Spurs franchise when he inked a four-year, $37 million deal as a restricted free-agent. Now, he can easily afford this luxurious house designed for the NBA type.
Anderson has been signing quite a few documents lately, and it is all in commitment to the Memphis Grizzlies. Fans may be focusing on the negatives — such as lack of speed and scoring at his position — but need to realize the positives. This 6’9″ forward adds versatility to the rotation, plus, he always packs the punch on the defensive end.
The Grizzlies have had success when swiping away developmental projects started by the Spurs organization. Looking back at the growth of power forward JaMychal Green, San Antonio spotted the potential. However, Memphis provided the bigger opportunity and reaped the benefits of unlocking that said potential.
If history repeats itself, the Grizzlies will once again strike gold with Kyle Anderson. It is refreshing to see mutual commitment from this young forward that still has room to grow.
Go Grizz!
