The last time we saw the Memphis Grizzlies, it was a time of underwhelming basketball, and tanking for a top pick. The 2018-19 season will be a 180-degree turnaround.

What you saw last season, throw it all away. The ‘losing is good’ mentality, get rid of it. It is time for Grizzly Nation to rise again, and get ready for another season that has the Grizzlies in the conversation at the end of the season for a playoff spot.

You heard it right, the electric atmosphere will return to FedEx Forum, and your Memphis Grizzlies (and us fans) will be frustrating good Western Conference opponents in the Grind House throughout the 2018-19 season.

Basketball fever is in the air, and the Grizzlies are a little less than two months away from their home opener against the Atlanta Hawks.

The team is finally healthy, and things seem to be heading in the right direction for this franchise after one off year, and while there are several reasons to be excited for this upcoming season, I have five key reasons Grizzlies fans should be excited for the 2018-19 season to start up!
