Memphis Grizzlies Have Advantage Over the New Look Lakers

Of course, many would say that Lebron James is the best to play the game in today’s league. But how will he fare on an entirely new team. According to ESPN the 2018-19 depth chart, has James in the Power Forward position meaning that he will be most closely related to Memphis Grizzly JaMaychal Green. Green had a stand out performance during the Grizzlies injury prone 2017-18 season. He was able to play in the post and shoot the ball from deep with impressive consistencey. Below are both James’ and Green’s career numbers.

Though, James’ overall points exceed that of Greens, other aspects of their game are relatively close. JaMychal Green has a better overall 3pt% than Lebron James over the course of each of their careers with his FG% and 2pt% not being too far behind. Though James is statistically a better player, Greens’ tenacity on the court and defensive awareness gives him a combination of Z-Bo and Tony Allen when playing on the court which will be tough when matched up against a player like Lebron James.

LeBron and JaMychal going up against each other that night would be a tough matchup for JaMychal because of his versatility, but we know that Green would give the Grizzlies everything that he had that night.
