Marc Gasol’s rating on NBA 2K comes in at a team high 85, and honestly could be higher. If you have played with Gasol in previous 2K’s, Gasol’s style of play has not changed a bit. However, in this 2K, defense is more in tune, which fits his style of play, especially when switching.

In the time I played with the Memphis Grizzlies, I caught myself not switching my icon to Gasol on defense as much do to his ratings helping the CPU rotate Gasol to each player, and boosting his teammates when my opponents would use screen actions.

Gasol is still absolute rock on the defensive end, and do not worry, he still a glitch from beyond the three point line. While Gasol’s release is one of the slowest, if you have played with Gasol and the Grizzlies in years past, this is nothing new. Gasol fits in this years 2K better than ever, and that is why I think he deserves a raise in the rating category, but I may be a little biased.
