Coming to his fifth team in his eighth season in the NBA Shelvin Mack might be in the toughest spot of his career with the Grizzlies roster. Mack, 27, is a journey man who was projected to be an elite point guard when was drafted but things haven’t panned out for Mack in the NBA.

Bouncing from team to team, and never really finding a home, Mack is looking to rekindle his NBA career in Memphis with potentially a training camp and preseason for NBA scouts around the league to show he still has what it takes to make it in this league.

Mack has averaged 6.9 points per game during his time in the NBA which is less than ideal, and has shown the signs of being on the brink of realizing his potential, Mack has yet to show up to the scene.

While I do not think there is a spot on this Grizzlies roster for Mack, there is still a spot in the NBA for Mack, he just has to show the scouts that he can be a good veteran backup for a potential playoff contender.

For that, Mack has his career to prove to everyone, including himself in this years Memphis Grizzlies training camp, and preseason run with this franchise.
