MEMPHIS, TN – SEPTEMBER 25: Chandler Parsons /

The Memphis Grizzlies will hold their media day on Monday September 24th, which means the 2018-19 season almost underway!

While I do not think things can get anymore dramatic than last season at Memphis Grizzlies Media Day, there are some headlines to look for throughout Monday morning into the afternoon. Last year Jarell Martin was cut on Media Day, only to make the roster after playing his heart out in preseason play. Media Day doesn’t sound interesting, but I promise you will want to pay attention to this.

The Memphis Grizzlies have an entire new roster of new comers after an unprecedented off-season of success. While many predicted that the Memphis Grizzlies wouldn’t have a very busy offseason, they made due with what they had, and showed guys from the last season the door for better seasoned talent in exchange.

There is no win loss record, and nothing really on the line at Media Day, so the new comers will be loose, and not up tight, especially after a game, so they will be ready to answer anything (within reason).

A lot of these guys, Grizzlies fans haven’t payed that much attention to, until they signed with Memphis, so Media Day is most likely the one day out of the season that you will see these guys open up about themselves, and tell the fans what they will get from themselves on a nightly basis.

So, which guys should you listen too, and which headlines should the fans be looking for starting around 10 A.M. on Monday morning from Beale Street Bears?
