Memphis Grizzlies 2018-19 Media Day Headlines to Look For
Mike Conley’s 2017-18 season ended rather quickly, but I think it was best for he and the franchise for two reasons. The Memphis Grizzlies tanked into the fourth overall pick which will be their cornerstone player for the future in Jaren Jackson Jr.. Then, Conley had surgery on a bone spur in his heel that had given him difficulties for the last two or three seasons.

The bone spur in his left heel is gone, and it appears that Conley can where his Jordan’s with no extra support for that heel. Conley had to adjust from game to game how he wanted his shoes to feel because of that injury. Now it is gone, and if you think Conley was explosive before, imagine what he feels like without pain.
Listen for how Conley describes those seasons where he opted to do anything but the surgery, and how it feels for him now. Would he go back and have the surgery or just go with what happened last season? If Conley has that surgery in 2015 or even later none of the ‘masked’ games happen and the 2016 duel with former San Antiono Spur Kawhi Leonard doesn’t happen, so it will be interesting to hear his answer.
Look to see if Conley will be full go next week when training camp starts up for the Memphis Grizzlies.
