 The Memphis Grizzlies do not have much time to plan for the Indiana Pacers following Friday’s win. To say the least, it will be an important preseason matchup.

Friday’s victory over the Atlanta Hawks was a breath of fresh air for the Memphis Grizzlies. Though preseason games do not count toward a team’s record, these repetitions assist in building momentum toward the regular season.

With a team with quite the overhaul in the offseason, developing chemistry quickly is essential. Adjustments were clearly made by the Grizzlies following Tuesday’s loss to the Houston Rockets, though they faced a lesser opponent on Friday.

Picking up the W last night, Memphis cannot afford to slouch on Saturday when they receive a preseason visit from the Indiana Pacers. This opponent is red hot, and not solely because of their surprising accomplishments in the 2017-18 season.

Saturday’s meeting inside the Grindhouse will be yet another great test to gauge where the Memphis Grizzlies currently sit in the Western Conference. Are they closer to Houston’s level of talent, or do they reside closer to the ranking of rebuilding Atlanta?

In the Grizzlies’ third preseason contest of October, Grizz Nation should receive many answers to questions they have had since the week of training camp. These are six important aspects of Saturday’s matchup versus the Indiana Pacers.
