J.B. Bickerstaff was asked before the Orlando Magic game how Memphis would treat the last two preseason games, I don’t think he had plans to get blown out by a less than average Magic team. Bickerstaff, if we have learned anything, isn’t ending the preseason getting blown out twice. I look forward to seeing the Grizzlies push the limits on Houston tonight at FedEx Forum.

I look forward to the Grizzlies starters outside of Chandler Parsons to play about 30 minutes tonight to show the fans, and the league that Memphis can play four quarters with one of the best teams in the Western Conference.

A lot of things went wrong in the Houston game for Memphis, but for Memphis it is the small things. Small things that a great team like Houston turned into big things. Memphis has to play disciplined defense, which is their forte this season, so I look forward to seeing them slow down the dynamic front court of James Harden and Chris Paul.

Memphis also has to be disciplined as a team, and not let Houston get one of their big runs. Memphis has to keep their mindset of playing a slow pace, and with Mike Conley, he will know when to push the Rockets in transition.
