Memphis Grizzlies Fall on the Road in Season-Opener Versus Indiana
By Chris Kern
Second Half
The second half got off to a much better start for the Memphis Grizzlies. They were aggressive on both ends and really looked like they were going to get back into this game.
Memphis just never seemed to have it going on both ends of the floor at the same time. Whenever they would get a big stop or two, they could not get a bucket to put any real pressure on the Indiana Pacers.
The offensive issues continued and the defense was just unable to get stops. The Pacers continued to dominate inside for the remainder of the game.
The Indiana Pacers would go on to win by a final score of 111-83. Bojan Bogdanovic led the way with 19 points, which just shows how much of a team effort it was for the Pacers.
Garrett Temple led the way for Memphis with 12 points off of four made three-pointers. Conley and Gasol combined to go 5-22 from the field for just 24 points between them.
