Jaren Jackson Jr.

Jaren Jackson Jr. is the obvious guy who will see a role increase. The rookie has been fantastic in the first two games and he has the fans very excited about the franchise’s future.

In today’s game, teams are playing more and more small ball, but that does not mean Jackson Jr. cannot play alongside Marc Gasol.

Jaren should be the starting power forward. Other guys will still play a lot of those minutes, but with the excitement surrounding Jackson Jr. going forward, he needs to be in the starting lineup.

The Memphis Grizzlies were a terrible rebounding team last season and they have not been much better this season. Going with Jackson Jr. and Gasol in the starting lineup should help with that within the starting unit.

These two will also help the offense. Both of these guys are very skilled and are able to get buckets for this team.

Memphis had the offensive explosion against the Atlanta Hawks, but they were terrible in the season-opener against the Indiana Pacers. It will be interesting to see how they fare versus the Utah Jazz on Monday.
