Wayne Selden

Wayne Selden has already had a couple big performances this season. He has averaged 7.3 points per game and has shot 47.1% from deep.

His consistency and health are what you worry about with him. If he can stay on the floor for close to 82 games, that would be big for him and this Memphis Grizzlies team.

His minutes have fluctuated so much throughout the first six games. In three of the games, he played single-digit minutes. However, in the other three games, he played over 20.

Selden has played well during those three games as well, so we should continue to see him playing big minutes. He has scored in double digits in both of the last two games.

Against the Sacramento Kings, he had a couple of big shots when the team was struggling in the second half, which was almost enough for them to get the win.

Then against the Phoenix Suns, he played well just like everybody else. He finished with 14 points on six-of-eight shooting.

It will be interesting to see Wayne Selden’s role as the season goes along. If he continues to shoot the ball with confidence, we can expect to see him on the floor.
