Force Turnovers

The Memphis Grizzlies have done a really good job forcing turnovers this season. They have averaged 17.7 turnovers per game.

The Grizzlies only average 13.3 turnovers themselves. They have forced more turnovers in every game than they have averaged so far.

The least amount of turnovers they forced were the 14 they forced in the win over Utah Friday night. They also have two games where they have forced 20 turnovers.

For a team that prides themselves on controlling the pace and slowing the game down, they create a lot of havoc on the defensive end.

They aren’t just gonna allow the opponents to get shots up. They have done a good job forcing turnovers which have been one of their biggest keys thus far.

In their last three games, they have forced 37 total turnovers. Not coincidentally, they have won all three of those games.

When Memphis is able to slow down the game that just makes possessions matter so much more. If they can continue to force turnovers at a high clip their opponents will continue to struggle offensively when they face this Grizzlies team.
