Memphis Grizzlies: 3 Straight Home Games Are Key
By Chris Kern
Utah Jazz
The Memphis Grizzlies have already beat the Utah Jazz twice on the road so they’ll be trying to get revenge by getting a road win themselves.
In one of those matchups, Utah was without Donovan Mitchell and it’s possible that he could miss Monday’s matchup as well. He is expected to play Wednesday night so it would take a setback for him to be out Monday.

Mitchell is averaging 22.4 points per game but even without him in the second matchup, the Jazz offense was much better than they were with him in the first meeting.
The Grizzlies have done a good job taking away what Rudy Gobert does well. He is averaging 16.3 points and 13.4 rebounds on 71% shooting from the field but has had his two lowest scoring outputs of the season against Memphis.
Gobert has shown an unwillingness to cover Gasol on the three-point line and the Grizzlies took advantage.
Joe Ingles and Ricky Rubio are two guys have given Memphis some problems in their previous matchups.
Rubio had 22 points in the second meeting as he really took advantage of the Grizzlies pick-and-roll defensive struggles. Ingles also benefited from some of the Grizzlies struggles as he put up 19 points in that second meeting as well.
Memphis did a really good job controlling the pace of both games even when the second game was more high scoring than the first.
If the Grizzlies bring that same intensity to the game on Monday they will improve to 3-0 on the season against the Jazz.
