Zion Williamson

Zion Williamson has been a viral sensation for a while now. Everyone knew he could dunk but the rest of his game has been overlooked.

Williamson was the 2nd ranked player in the 2018 freshman class. He is also projected to go 2nd overall in next years NBA Draft.

People have said he’s only a dunker and that he was an overrated pro prospect. You don’t want to overreact over just one college game but he showed off his whole arsenal.

He showed off his ability to shoot the three ball as well as his ability to run the offense. He made some really good passes and looked comfortable playing a little bit of point guard.

His ability to finish around the rim might be the biggest takeaway from the Kentucky game. We all knew he had the physical strength to be a good post scorer but he continually attacked the basket off the dribble and was finishing through contact.

He made 11 of his 13 shot attempts which is just crazy efficient. He made everything look easy and proved all the doubters wrong.

Memphis could use a guy like that. A guy who can create plays for others and has the skills and versatility to do it all.

You can’t really label him as being a certain position but he would probably play one of the forward spots in the NBA.

He would give them another playmaker which you need going forward. If he can be close to the player he was against Kentucky then he is going to be special
