The Memphis Grizzlies coming off their first home loss of the season against Utah were looking to right the ship in Milwaukee.

The Memphis Grizzlies went on the road and beat one of the best teams in the eastern conference. This was the Bucks first home loss this season.

This was a game of runs but the constant theme through the first 32 minutes of the game or so was that the Grizzlies were able to get enough stops to keep the momentum.

That completely changed late in the third quarter as the Bucks went on a 27-4 run which extended into the fourth quarter.

Milwaukee was able to turn a 15 point deficit into an eight-point lead in just five minutes of play. It seemed like Memphis was destined for another collapse away from home.

We saw them blow double-digit leads in Phoenix and in Sacramento. It seemed like it was going the same direction but the Grizzlies continued to fight.

Unlike in the previous road collapses Memphis found a way to hit tough shots late in the game. They ran good offensive sets and they got stops on the other end of the floor.

Many players hit big shots including Garrett Temple who scored six points in a 40-second span midway through the fourth.

The main guys who led the comeback were the stars Mike Conley and Marc Gasol. They both made many big shots that they hadn’t made in the previous road losses.

Shelvin Mack and Conley both missed a free throw in the final few seconds which gave the Bucks a chance to tie. Khris Middleton would miss a contested three as time expires.

The Memphis Grizzlies showed what they were made off by battling back after blowing a big lead. Here are three of the main takeaways from the road win.
