Grizzlies Can Win High Scoring Games

The Memphis Grizzlies have shown the ability to win a slow paced game but in this game, they showed that they can win a high scoring game as well.

That doesn’t mean we should expect them to play faster going forward but they showed they are capable of scoring the ball at a high clip.

The strength of this team is still to slow it down but it was good to see them win a game against a really good Milwaukee team when they still allowed 113 points.

The Grizzlies 116 points are the 3rd highest mark of the season which was easily their highest mark on the road. Their previous high away from home was 101 in Golden State.

They scored the ball in a variety of ways which is something they hadn’t been able to do in some of their previous games. Conley and Gasol both were fantastic but the role players are the difference when they play in tough games like this.

Jaren Jackson Jr. had a big 13 points even though he did just play 16 minutes due to foul trouble.  Mack has been big in many games this season and he kept that up with another 15 points Wednesday night.

Wayne Selden and MarShon Brooks both chipped in with a few baskets, as well as them each having a couple assists.

The Memphis Grizzlies went through that long cold spell offensively but they made enough shots that they were able to still find a way to win.

This offense isn’t the most consistent but when they’re playing like this, they can beat almost anybody.
