Beale Street Bears provides the top 10 items that all Memphis Grizzlies fans should be thankful for through the first month of the 2018-19 NBA season.

Happy Thanksgiving, Grizz Nation! The Memphis Grizzlies (12-5) currently own the best record in the Western Conference. They are also the NBA’s third-best team overall.

One year ago is when the Grizzlies ship began to sink at a rapid rate. It appeared that it could be time for a total rebuild. David Fizdale was relieved of his head coaching duties. Injuries were piling up. The team had to rely upon their youth that had little NBA regular season experience.

Though the Memphis Grizzlies failed — by a wide margin — to reach the postseason in 2017-18, it allowed the franchise to regroup. Players were able to receive time to heal. It allowed the young guns to develop. Plus, it enabled the Grizz to land a couple of intriguing prospects via the NBA Draft.

As the month of December quickly approaches, these are (in no particular order) 10 things in which fans of the Memphis Grizzlies should be very thankful.
