3 Reasons The Memphis Grizzlies Should Trade For Markelle Fultz

Sixers Have No Leverage
The Philadelphia 76ers have very little leverage in this situation. Everybody who follows the NBA knows about all the drama that has been going on over the past couple of months.
He isn’t a fit on this team and he doesn’t seem to be a part of their future plans. It was a bad move for them to make and they need to move on sooner rather than later.
They won’t get close to the value that they would like to get for him. If they want to get anything for him they will have to trade him for the best offer they can get, as quickly as they can get it.
If it doesn’t require a first-round pick to get him Memphis should at the very least give them a call to see what it would take.
The 76ers may want some players who can help win now and it doesn’t seem like the Grizzlies have those that they are willing to offer.
Someone like Garrett Temple could be considered but it seems unlikely Memphis would want to part ways with him especially with their current injuries on the wing.
It would give Philly another two-way player who can defend at a high level while also giving them some more shooting they need.
This likely isn’t a deal Memphis should consider at the moment but if they fall below .500 and struggle to stay in the playoff race they should get this done.
With the way this situation is currently going, it will be tough for Fultz to get traded. It could be a couple of months before anything gets done, so the Grizzlies have plenty of time to debate whether or not they should make this move.
