The Memphis Grizzlies bench got off to a great start this season. They have started to struggle while the Clippers bench has been one of the best in the league.

The Memphis Grizzlies bench still has been solid on some nights but far too often they struggle to make shots which leads to them very little impact.

They had many nights where Shelvin Mack would score around 20 points while now they don’t get much more than that as a whole bench unit.

The Clippers have guys who will put up big numbers. Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell are two of the best players to come off of the bench in the whole league.

Williams is averaging 17.8 points and 4.4 assists per game so far this season. He scored 15 points on 5-14 shooting in the first matchup this season.

Harrell has been one of the most improved players in the whole league. He is averaging 16.5 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. He also put up 22 points and 11 rebounds in the prior matchup.

Those are the two guys the Clippers rely on off the bench but they have some other really good players. With Boban Marjanovic, Mike Scott, and Patrick Beverley to go with the first two guys they form arguably the best bench in the league.

You know the Clippers bench will make a big impact so the Grizzlies need to do the same. It will be a collective effort but these are the three guys needed the most.
