The Memphis Grizzlies still don’t need to panic but they need to get back on track before they fall further down the standings. Here are some areas they can improve on to help pick up some wins.

The Memphis Grizzlies are 15-11 and in 6th place in the western conference. That’s a good start to the season but some recent struggles have them going in the wrong direction.

They have lost six of their last nine games and confidence seems to be dwindling. They picked up what seemed to be a confidence-boosting win in New Orleans but followed it up with back to back losses.

This team isn’t playing good basketball right now and that will continue to lead to more losses if they can’t figure out a way to play better.

The Grizzlies have three home games in a four-day span and they need to make the most of it. They start it off against Portland Wednesday before playing Miami and Houston in a back to back Friday and Saturday night.

They immediately follow those games by heading on a tough four-game western conference road trip which makes these home games that much more critical.

This is a stretch of games they need to do well in before things go south. Despite struggling recently there have been some positives.

Since the addition of Joakim Noah, the bench has been much better. They have made an impact and are playing with the energy this team needs.

The Grizzlies bench is averaging 47.8 points per game in the teams last four games. During that same span, the starters are only averaging 49.8 points per game.

That is led by JaMychal Green‘s 15.2 points per game during that span. That is only behind Mike Conley’s 16.6 which is the highest on the team.

Despite the bench unit scoring the ball well the team has lost the last two games after winning the first two in that stretch.

The Grizzlies have a lot to work on if they want to get back on track. Here are three ways they can right the ship and get back to winning games.
