The Memphis Grizzlies need to make some changes, and these are six players that they should have on their radar as December 15th arrives.

December 15th is a date that does not mean much to most, but in 2018 for the Memphis Grizzlies, it could come with some significance.

This day will mark the opening of the NBA trade market for players that signed free-agent deals a few months ago in the offseason. For instance, this is the opening date that Memphis could deal newcomers Shelvin Mack, Omri Casspi, and Kyle Anderson if they wanted to do so.

On paper, the Memphis Grizzlies’ roster was in dire need of frontcourt assistance and insurance, but help arrived via the signing of center Joakim Noah. Still, Memphis could use additional shooting, scoring, and rebounding options if a golden opportunity presents itself.

The Grizzlies currently rank 16th in the NBA in team shooting percentage at 45.4%. The far worse issue lies within the rebounding department, where they fall 29th of 30 teams at 47.9 boards per game. This needs drastic change if the Grizz are truly serious in remaining in playoff contention.

Beale Street Bears presents six potential trade targets that can be made available beginning on December 15th. At an absolute minimum, these are players that the Memphis Grizzlies’ Front Office need to place calls on.
