The Memphis Grizzlies have dealt with their fair share of drama the past 24 hours and now they’ll go into tonight’s game without starting small forward Kyle Anderson.

Kyle Anderson injured his ankle during the Memphis Grizzlies’ home loss Friday night against the Miami Heat.

This is a tough loss for Memphis especially since they have been struggling. Anderson had been starting to find his rhythm so his presence will be missed.

He has been a big part on both ends of the floor providing good defense while also being one of the teams best rebounders.

They’re going to have to find a way to get by without him against a good Houston Rockets team that has been playing better as of late.

With Dillon Brooks and Chandler Parsons out as well, the Grizzlies have to mix and match their rotation in tonight’s game.

This puts the teams in a bad situation especially after all the drama that occurred last night with the trade that almost happened.

The Grizzlies nearly were a part of a three-team deal to acquire Kelly Oubre while sending MarShon Brooks and Wayne Selden to Phoenix.

Those two had already seen an increase in minutes due to other injuries but now they will be asked to produce even more.

It’s gonna be an awkward situation for those two but they have to be professionals and keep their focus on the basketball court.

This is a team that has had good chemistry to start the season and the hope is that this won’t change that at all.

This was already going to be a tough game for Memphis but now the odds are stacked against them. With the Rockets playing well and the Grizzlies set to start a four-game west coast trip after this it’s going to take a full team effort to secure a victory.
