The Memphis Grizzlies have gotten off to a good start to the season and a lot of that is due to the play of Mike Conley. It is time for him to get proper recognition and be selected to the all-star team.
Mike Conley has been one of the league’s most underrated players for years. He does it all for this team but he doesn’t get the recognition from the national media that he deserves.
The people of Memphis love him but playing in a small market has hurt his chances at being an all-star. It’s hard to predict how things will go but this might be his last shot at being selected.
With so many young up and coming guards it’s hard to envision him having a shot to make it next year or any year after that.
Young guards in the west such as Luka Doncic and Devin Booker look on their way to becoming perennial all-stars in the near future.

His ability to get it done on both ends of the floor stands out for a Grizzlies team that prides themselves on the defensive end.
He held Damian Lillard to just 4-18 shooting in Wednesday night’s win. He did that while still taking over on the offensive end down the stretch.
Conley is this teams leader and he is the reason that this team has been so successful. He’s had a lot of help but he is the guy who makes this team go.
