The Memphis Grizzlies have moved on from Chandler Parsons. Here are some players who could be potential targets in a trade.

Any deal for Chandler Parsons will be difficult to get done. The Memphis Grizzlies will likely have to give up more than they would like in any potential deal.

The deal to acquire Justin Holiday changes things for sure as the team no longer has a second-round pick in either of the next two years.

The Grizzlies have made it clear they don’t want to give up a first-round pick in any deal and even if they wanted to it would be difficult since this year’s pick is going to the Boston Celtics if it’s outside the top eight.

That doesn’t make a Parsons deal impossible though because there are likely at least a few teams that would be willing to do so if the deal is right for them.

Deals like these are always hard to make work but the Carmelo Anthony for Dennis Schroeder deal from this past summer is a good example of how they can work.

It was a deal that worked for both teams since they had contracts they wanted to get out of. A similar deal is something that could work for Memphis.

If they can find a team that has a player with a long contract they want to get out of then they may be willing to make a deal for Parsons.

Not all of these are extremely realistic at the moment but a lot can change. It seems unlikely a deal will get done but here are five players the Grizzlies should at least look into.
