The NBA Trade Rumors will continue to come up surrounding Memphis Grizzlies’ Mike Conley. Here are five teams who could look to acquire the star point guard.

The Memphis Grizzlies have made it known that their star players Mike Conley and Marc Gasol are available in trade talks. The NBA trade rumors will continue to swirl as we get closer to the deadline.

It may seem that Gasol is more likely to be traded and while that may be true, there will be plenty of, if not more interest for Conley.

His contract certainly isn’t favorable but so many teams have bad contracts they’d be willing to get rid off to take on a larger salary for a better player.

There could be a couple of young teams interested in him as well as some playoff contending teams that are looking to improve their roster.

His ability to play on and off the ball could be a good fit for a lot of teams that already have stars as it would be a fairly easy transition for him to slide in alongside any star guard.

While on the flipside he could also be a good backcourt mate for a young team. Some young teams would be more than willing to take on a star veteran to help lead the youngsters for the next couple of years.

It won’t be a long-term commitment for any team but making a young team a bit more competitive for the short term could really help some teams.

Conley is going to want to win wherever he goes so while he isn’t able to hand pick where he goes if multiple suitors develop the team should at least let him have some input.

The Grizzlies aren’t going to trade him just to trade him. They won’t covet a huge amount but this isn’t just a salary dump, they’re going to want something of value in return.

This is all just pure speculation but we now know that he is officially available. Here are five teams that could be possible landing spots for Conley.
