NBA Trade Rumors: 3 Teams Interested In Memphis Grizzlies’ Garrett Temple And JaMychal Green
By Chris Kern
Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers have made it known they are looking to make moves this trade deadline. While most people will take about the potential blockbuster deal a smaller deal is much more likely.
They have made it known they want to acquire more three-point shooting and Temple is one of the guys they are considering. While Green could be useful for them as well we will focus on just Temple for the Lakers.
Lebron James has been out for a few weeks and they haven’t done well without him. This deal isn’t about the short term. It’s about adding another shooter for the postseason push.

They have a lot of veterans on short deals on their roster so I’m sure they’d be willing to add another. They’re all about this summer in free-agency so anybody they acquire will likely have an expiring contract.
Lance Stephenson and Michael Beasley are two guys who could potentially be moved in a deal for a wing shooter. Put one of those two with a young player and that may be enough even without a second-round pick.
Josh Hart and maybe even Ivica Zubac would be off the table in this deal. The Grizzlies may be able to acquire Svi Mykhailiuk, Isaac Bonga, or Moritz Wagner though. They also would want a second-round pick and they may or may not be able to get that.
If James returns soon that pick would be high 40’s at the earliest so the Lakers may be willing to throw that in if that is what it took to get a deal done.
The Grizzlies may have a choice of Mykhailiuk or a second-round pick and they would choose Mykhailiuk whom is a good piece they could use. He is a very good shooter who could benefit from the larger opportunity he would receive if he came to Memphis.
All of these possible trades are just speculation but if these two guys get traded it’s very possible that they end up at one of these three spots.
