Marc Gasol had a special career with the Memphis Grizzlies. Here we take a look at the some his top moments with the team.

Marc Gasol had an amazing career with the Memphis Grizzlies. We wish it could’ve led to some more team success but they did make seven playoff appearances including a trip to the Western Conference Finals in 2013.

The impact he and Mike Conley have had on this team has been huge. They have had a lot of good teams and have brought together the city of Memphis.

Throughout his career with the Grizzlies, he has played in 769 regular season games, starting in 762 of them. His career averages are 15.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.

He is a three-time NBA all-star, being selected in 2012, 2015, and 2017. He was also selected to All-NBA team twice, earning first-team honors in 2015, and second-team honors in 2013.

His defensive impact was a big part of his game throughout his time in Memphis. He averaged 1.5 blocks and 0.9 steals per game. Those were enough to warrant him some defensive awards as he won Defensive Player of the Year in 2013 while being named to the All-Defensive second team that season as well.

Gasol was also very productive in the playoffs as he was a participant in six of the seven postseasons the team played in while he was on the team. In 59 career playoff games, he averaged 17.2 points, 8.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.7 blocks.

He did a little bit of everything for this team every game and he did that in the playoffs as well which was key in these teams winning a couple of series.

Gasol was a special player and he made an impact on everyone who followed the Grizzlies. Our staff here at BealeStreetBears breakdown some of the top moments of his time in Memphis.
