The NCAA Tournament is an exciting time to see the top NBA Draft prospects in action. Here are how some potential Memphis Grizzlies targets performed in the first week of March Madness.

The NCAA Tournament is an exciting couple of weeks where we witness all of the top players at the college level compete for a national championship. It is a good time for NBA teams to scout and there are plenty of NBA Draft prospects for the Memphis Grizzlies to consider.

With the way, Memphis has been playing it’s very possible they do end up conveying the pick to Boston in this year’s draft. No matter how you feel about that potentially happening that is what the Grizzlies front office wants to happen. They would rather just get it over with rather than having to deal with it next season and maybe the year after that.

Prospects mentioned in this article will be at multiple positions as it is very tough to predict where the Grizzlies will go. After drafting Jaren Jackson Jr. last season it seems as if a big may not be the pick, but even that may be possible.

It all depends on what the roster looks like next season. They acquired many new faces at the NBA Trade deadline and it seems as if they may be making some big moves this summer as well. Mike Conley could be a hot target in the trade market during free agency.

If the Grizzlies are able to trade him then maybe they try and snag a top guard prospect to replace him, depending on what they get back in a trade. Some of these prospects also would be too high for the Grizzlies to draft, but with the new lottery rules maybe a jump into the top three can happen.

Whether Memphis has a first-round pick in this year’s draft or not they should at least be aware with the top prospects, worst case scenario is they have scouted them a lot which can help them be more prepared to face them when they’re in the NBA. Here are some of the top NBA Draft prospects and how they played during the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament.
