The Memphis Grizzlies will likely be making their pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. Here is how this year’s draft could shape up in the first round.

The NBA Draft is a very exciting time for all basketball fans. We get all college fans who get to see where their players end up while the NBA fans get to see which new youngsters their teams will build around. The Memphis Grizzlies are one of the teams who is still searching for another building block to move forward with.

This draft class is thought of as relatively weak, but there are at least a few prospects who look to become future superstars at the next level. Zion Williamson and Ja Morant are two of the top guys who everyone is talking about, but there are also plenty of quality prospects lower in the draft.

The Grizzlies have Jaren Jackson Jr. to build around and if they can get someone else to build around the future could become very bright. A lot of their future depends on whether Mike Conley will be on the team or not, but either way, they have plenty of possible prospects who would fit in nicely.

Some people want Conley traded, but you do need a good replacement in place and guys such as Darius Garland and Coby White could fill that void. We also have some that want Conley to stay since the team has looked much better since the trade deadline.

Memphis has an exciting draft coming up, but so do many other NBA teams as well. With so much hype around the free agency this year, it could lead to the draft being even more exciting. We are still nearly three months out so a lot will change, but here is Beale Street Bears first mock draft of the season.
